Export PDFs and print notes
Turn any note or chat transcript into a clean PDF, or print it with the native dialog.
Export to PDF
PDF export and native printing are currently available on Linux and Windows.
- Open the note (or chat) you want to export.
- File → Export to PDF (
Ctrl+Shift+E), or the download icon in the toolbar. - Pick where to save it. The PDF keeps the rendered styling - headings, tables, code blocks, task lists, images and embeds.
File → Print (Ctrl+P) opens the native print dialog - GTK on Linux or the Windows dialog - with the same layout used for PDF export (A4 with comfortable margins).
Good to know
- Chat transcripts export too: the “Export PDF” and “Print” buttons in the chat sidebar produce a readable
## You/## Assistanttranscript. - YouTube links on their own line embed in the preview and print as a link card in the PDF.
- Local images are inlined into the print document, so exporting works even for self-contained notes with embedded images.
